Tortoises on Holiday also provides an over-wintering service and a refrigeration hibernation service.

Boarding Facilities

All outdoor accommodation are planted with natural graze on good quality topsoil.  Each enclosure has a shelter and shrubs for shade as well as a covered area.  All sides and tops are secure to prevent any predators from getting in as well as your tortoise getting out.  For more information please see the Boarding Facilities page.

Over-Wintering Service

Over-Wintering service package is at a reduced cost for tortoises not in hibernation. This service is only available from October to April. If your tortoises require long-term housing over the winter months, Tortoises on Holiday offer this service to ensure they get the care they need.  They will have a heat-lamp, UVB light, appropriate food and water supply as well as the recommended vitamins and mineral supplements for their species.  For more details please see the Over-Wintering page.
