Russell and Anne are keen tortoise keepers and over many years have kept several different species of tortoises. Each species requires different habitat and care, so have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. 

Russell and Anne both have scientific discipline degrees and Anne also have a PhD in Atmospheric chemistry.  Cosy Tortoises is a family business and hope to one day expand into a tortoise sanctuary.  We are passionate about tortoise welfare and helping improve the information available to all tortoise keepers as well as improving accessibility to said information.

Tortoises on Holiday

Cosy tortoises identifed a need for a boarding service should tortoise owners require experienced care while they cannot provide their usual level of care for a number of reasons.  Although there are many animal boarding services around, Cosy Tortoises felt that the needs of tortoises could be better cared for using a specialist tortoise boarding service.  A service with the correct set-up for tortoises, as well as the specific knowledge and experience that  have gained over the years.  Being a specialist tortoise boarding service we feel that "Tortoises on Holiday" offer competitive rates for the service that is being provided.
